Bowie High School's slogan boasts its "Pride in Performance." This pride is evident in three Bowie High students who are part of the technical team for CALLED BY NAME (Sept 21-23 at Austin Oaks Church).

Matthew Bosnyak provides lighting design, assisted by Julia Cabrera.  Lauren Collins is Assistant Director. According to Director, Glenna Bowman, "all three students are very talented and resourceful. We are lucky to have them on our production team."

Bowman worked with Bosnyak and Collins in May of this year on SoundBeacon Entertainment's 3-person production, "UNSTOPPABLE!" 

Bowman praised Bowie High theater teacher, Marco Bazan, who arranged for the students to work on both productions.  "Mr. Bazan was Bowie's 2017 Teacher of the Year and I understand why.  He is committed to excellence and he cares about his students. I have enjoyed working with him."
