Rochelle Lacy has an extensive fine arts background, including a Bachelor of Science degree in art from Texas Women's University (Denton, Tx) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama Education from the University of Texas in Austin. She was the drama director at Pampa High School for ten years and taught “Introduction to Theater” at Clarendon College. Rochelle was instrumental in organizing Pampa's Area Community Theater, Inc. (ACT I), which operated for over 20 years. She both directed and acted, her favorite role being Sister Robert Anne of the Little Sisters of Hoboken in "Nunsense" and "Nunsense 2, the Sequel." Rochelle is a member of Altrusa International, and has held board positions with Pampa Community Concert Association, Lovett Library, and Tralee (Domestic Violence) Crisis Center. She recently moved to Austin and is excited to join the board of Soundbeacon Entertainment.
Bennett Neiman, PhD, is the Founder and President of Chrysalis Consulting, a full-service Organizational Development specializing in Strategic Planning, Team Building, and Leadership Training. He is the author of the highly successful business book, “Slay the Dragons-Free the Genie: Moving past negativity and resistance to get great results.” He holds a Master’s Degree in Communication from St. Louis University and a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. He and his wife, Sandi reside in Austin, Texas and have six children and four grandchildren. Bennett and his four children have been actively involved in Musical Theatre their whole lives.
Machelle Pharr is a Certified Public Accountant from Austin, Texas. She has over thirty years' experience in state government administration. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for the Employees Retirement System of Texas.
Mena Ramon holds Bachelor of Journalism and Doctor of Jurisprudence degrees from The University of Texas at Austin. She has over 25 years' experience providing legal advice regarding employment matters, open records and ethics issues. She is an active volunteer in the Austin community as a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Austin, as well as Meals on Wheels and St. Austin Catholic School.
Sharon Whitfield holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Recreation Administration from Texas State University. She has over 15 years' experience advertising and awarding state grants. She has deep ties to the Austin community, having lived here her entire life. She is highly engaged with her church and East Austin neighbors and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the largest African-American women's organization in the U.S., whose focus includes economic and education development.
