For those of you who don't know me - or who aren't familiar with my habits - I LOVE musical theatre! I don't just "like" musical theatre; I LOVE musical theatre!

My family often quotes lines from musicals - like other people may quote lines from movies or their favorite song singles.

I see musicals at Zachary Scott Theatre, I attend "Broadway Across Austin" productions, I see musicals at the Long Center. My kids are in musicals at church, at school, at the Dell Jewish Community Center.  I have been to New York many times to see shows on Broadway - including a little show called "Newsies" that my son, Tommy Martinez, was in for a year and a half!

So the other day - just for kicks - I compiled an inventory of all the shows I have seen on Broadway and here is what I discovered:

     I have seen 49 Broadway productions (37 musicals & 12 plays) over the last 15 years. 31 of those productions have been in the last 5 years!

Of course, I love Wicked.  Who doesn't?

But two at the top of my list are:

*  The Drowsy Chaperone

and a new favorite,

*  Something Rotten
