Tori Robertson hails from Houston, Texas, where her parents weathered Hurricane Harvey with a little less trauma than many of their neighbors. While we continue to keep the hurricane victims in our thoughts and prayers, we are thankful that Tori's family is well!
Tori brings her bright smile and engaging personality to the Narrator role in "CALLED BY NAME," a Broadway-Style One-Act musical written by Austin's own Miriam Relyea and directed by Glenna Bowman.
Tori is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin, where she has performed in "Fame: The Musical," "The Wild Party," and "Legally Blonde: The Musical." As the Narrator for CALLED BY NAME," Tori gently guides us along the journey with King Saul's grandson, Mephibosheth, who loses his birthright at the tender age of five and lives his life as an outcast until King David finds him and restores him to his rightful place in the royal household.
FUN FACT: In December of this year, Tori will perform the role of Kitty in my favorite musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone!" Remember? (Go see the show if you don't know what this reference means. And, if you DO get the reference, then you, especially, should go see the show!)
